João Paulo Farias

​Mr. Farias is an UFRN-trained software developer with 15 years of experience in software design and algorithms.  He currently serves as our lead developer and is responsible for designing and coding our top-level algorithms.  Mr. Farias is a founding partner and created our original gaming AIs and interfaces in the early 2000s.  Previously, Mr. Farias worked as a lead developer at Anchor Loans, CA, where he led the design and development of their innovative real-estate software.   His current research interests include deep learning, virtual and augmented reality, and advanced game engines.  Originally born in Natal, Brazil, Mr. Farias resides in Southern Portugal with his wife and two daughters.  In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, MMORPGs, and tinkering with drones.
